Chile Earthquake - Early on Monday morning, a powerful 8.8-magnitude earthquake struck Chile, destroying hundreds of buildings and killing at least 200 people. While the assessments are just beginning, we know that this devastating earthquake will leave many low-income families homeless.
Join us in praying for the best-but preparing for the worst. Please help by making a secure online donation today.
Habitat for Humanity has worked in Chile for the past 12 years, building more than 3,500 homes. Our staff on the ground there has extensive training in disaster response and is ready to help those affected rebuild their homes and their lives.
Just as in Haiti, the extent of our ability to help families will depend on the funds we can raise for the work-and on how quickly those funds are available. Please make a gift now to help us repair and rebuild in Chile.
