Have a question? Get in touch:

Cambodia is home to 15 million people; more than a quarter live below the poverty line. The country is emerging from decades of conflict and inequalities still persist.

Too many families live in poorly built homes without access to secure tenure or basic facilities, such as proper toilets and clean water.

Since 2003, Habitat Cambodia has been working to develop sustainable communities, serving more than 90,000 people.

Funds raised in Ireland support Habitat Cambodia’s home repair and water and sanitation work in rural areas, transforming lives of people like Chen Phon and his neighbours:

Volunteer in Cambodia next summer with volunteers from across Ireland to support this life-changing work. This is a unique opportunity to experience grassroots development and the warmth of the Cambodian people. Volunteers will:

SEE the shocking reality of poverty housing

SERVE families in need

SPEAK out for the cause of safe, decent housing when they return home

Habitat co-ordinates everything for a safe and rewarding experience. You don’t need special skills to take part.

Supporting Habitat's Work

The budget to take part is £2,400p/p (this includes a non-refundable deposit, travel, in-country expenses, a debrief and a minimum £700 donation towards Habitat’s work). Of the £2,400 volunteers make a minimum personal contribution of £500 towards logistics costs. If you are unable to make this contribution, get in touch.

There are lots of ideas and resources to support fundraising. Volunteers must be clear about what the funds raised will support.
