Join Habitat NI's unique challenge event, Shack Attack!

9th-10th June, Newport, Hillsborough

Raise awareness about the global need for safe homes & raise funds to help.

Taking part is simple:

  • Team up with family, friends or colleagues
  • Build a shack from scrap materials
  • Sleep out in it for a night
  • Experience some of the challenges faced by families living in poor housing every day
  • Raise vital funds to help build hope

Are you up for the challenge?

1 in 4 people in our world do not have a decent place to call home.

Help build hope!

Teams are challenged to raise as much as they can towards a Habitat home in one of the worlds poorest communities. For example in Malawi, a safe home for orphaned and vulnerable children costs only £2,500. Every pound you raise will help transform lives.
