It has been just four short months since the frames were raised on Templemore Avenue, but through the dedication and hard work of many volunteers and of course the Habitat construction team, progress at the site has been immense.
Despite the wet and gloomy weather, volunteers have been working relentlessly on the homes, including teams from Ulster Bank, the U.S and Canada, Dromore High School, Newbridge Integrated College and University of Ulster students, to name but a few.
With the roof tiles now in place, and the windows firmly installed, work has started on insulating the interior of the six homes, to keep our families warm and dry. Christmas will be an exciting time for the families as they can begin to visualise just how their new home will look and the future they have ahead.

With lots of work still to be done at Templemore we have a number of volunteer opportunities available. If you would be interested in local volunteering please email localni@habitatni.co.uk
