How your donation can help
Helping a family build their way out of poverty goes far beyond physically putting a roof over their heads.
Shelter
A safe, decent home is the foundation upon which families can build the rest of their lives.
Water and Sanitation
Across the globe Habitat housing programmes are linking families to clean water and proper sanitation, reducing the threat of water borne diseases and the impacts of poor sanitation.
Livelihood Development
Our goal is to ensure that families have opportunities to succeed. A decent home gives many families the opportunity to set up home based businesses generating sustainable and secure income to support their families.
Educational opportunities
Decent, permanent shelter provides stability for families and gives children and young people the secure and comfortable environment they need to learn, grow and achieve.
Improving Health
Good housing design and construction teciniques play a vital role improving health. A clean, healthy home and health education gives families the environment and knowledge they need to protect against life threatening illnesses.
